PAC-12's annual charge up the Director's Cup standings
The Final Division 1 Winter Standing came out on 4/30/19:
Top 10 as below:
1 Stanford
2 Michigan
3 Penn State
4 Wisconsin
5 Minnesota
6 Kentucky
7 Notre Dame
8 Ohio State
9 Virginia
10 Florida
The B1G has traditionally done very well in the standing at this juncture annually.
However, with the posting of the year's first Spring up-date on 5/14/19 we witness once again a charge from PAC 12 contenders USC and UCLA.
The top ten remain the same, save for the fact that:
USC shoots up to #5 from #22 to displace Florida temporarily from the top ten at #11. AND
ULCA sprints to #12 from #32
Others of note:
Texas #16
UNC # 23
Times in the top 10:
Stanford 25
Florida 25
UCLA 22
UNC 20
Michigan 19
Texas 19
USC 16
OSU 12
Georgia 10
Penn State 9
Opps, switch OSU and Notre Dame at 7 and 8.
PS: Fingers crossed (and knock on wood) but...
Michigan look to be in good shape to tie North Carolina at 20 each this year, bumping them up to #4 in all-time top 10 finishes in the Directors Cup Standings.
GO BLUE!!!
But what does this have to do with basketball?
Somewhere, Dave Brandon is touching himself while reading this.
And then, with those same unwashed dirty hands, he's touching pizzas and toys...
Eeeewwwwwwww!!!!
You had to go and make it sound weird...
ULCA? That's a new one....
