Congratulations to Kyle Kalis and his St. Edward team at #5 and Mario Ojemudia and Devin Funchess and their Harrison team at #19. Keep up the good work and keep the publicity train rolling for this class.
There's also something awe inspiring about the team at #12. Go Blue.

He has Colerain dropping out of the top 50 and being 2-2. Guess he doesn't realize Colerain beat Mason 56-20 last week. Very poorly written intro in the article as well. There are three or four sentences that are completely jacked. The best place for high school football rankings is Calpreps.com.

I didn't even read the intro to the article but went straight to the list. I assume that most of these lists are just a popularity contest anyway. I'm just excited to see our future players and their teams get more publicity on one of the major recruiting sites.

You probably already realized this, but that awe inspiring winged helmet at #12 belongs to Bellevue in Washington, Steve Schilling's old high school.

It is great to see that a team from Florida (Tampa Jefferson) will be heading up to Ohio to play Kyle Kalis' St. Edward team. That can only help the players. I have one question though, how can a team afford to travel that far for a non-tournament game? When I attended high school in the late 90s, my school's athletic budget did not have the funds to permit my team to travel to a neighboring state. This Florida team will be traveling almost a 1000 miles.

We used to travel out of state for cross country (please don't laugh) but I know there's a lot more expense involved with a football team. I'm amazed by the money spent on high school sports. A local high school had a powerhouse girl's basketball program in the mid 90's and they hosted national programs for an annual holiday tournament. The rumor at the time was that they even helped pay for travel for some of the teams. If you want to be ranked nationally, you need to play the national powerhouses I guess.
