No, I think "Alabama-ed" is probably better. While Mark May's favorite league is the definition of sleaze running rampant, Saban takes it to an entiely different level. While I understand other comments about one or more of these cases not passing the smell test, Saban lost the benefit of the doubt years ago IMO. Star players get the Mother Teresa version of Saban when they screw up. Roster fillers get medical releases and permanent suspensions.

I don't see where these suspensions are necessarily shady.  The possibility is there I suppose, but this doesn't exactly fit the mold of previous shady cuts to the roster.

Sophomore DL Darrington Sentimore (love the name) played in 11 games last year.  I don't claim to know much, if anything, but this doesn't seem to pass the smell test.  Meaning, it doesn't wreak of Slimy Shady Saban's Vaporizing Scholarship Sauce & Natural Hair Tonic

Saban is the classic "boy who cried wolf."  He has "Saban'd" so many players that it is difficult to tell when he is actually doing the right thing.  I'm guessing the guy who played in 11 games is getting a legitimate punishment, while the other two are getting the "Alabama Slam."

Two of those guys were merely "indefinitely suspended" which does not free up their scholarships, does it? Stonum is in the same situation but is still part of the 85 scholarship roster at UM.

With this particular case. One guy played in 11 games last year, and one guy was suspended all of last year, so he probably has some issues. The last guy, I ddon't know, but considering the other two, in context it seems like he also screwed up some how and he isn't being "Saban'd."

The 2 guys that were indefinitely suspended probably did the same thing, and one of them played last year.  The 3rd guy was suspended by the NCAA so he obviously did something to deserve it.

And like others have said, the suspensions don't free up any space.

You have ground to stand on no matter what. If Hoke and Co. are oversigning SEC style, they should get the same reaction. I don't think there's any way in hell Hoke recruits Saban/Nutt/Miles style, simply because nobody at Michigan would stand behind it. Even if he wanted to, he'd be gone in a second for sleazy shit like that.
