OSU is that high?
December 20th, 2018 at 7:46 PM ^
Not for long.
Falling by the minute.
December 20th, 2018 at 8:14 PM ^
I'm shocked that they're that high.
December 21st, 2018 at 9:54 AM ^
I always avoid these holier-than-thou discussions about relative academic strengths, because I realize most of MGo posterdom is no different than that at 11W - their connection to the school does not extend beyond sporting events.
You're really reaching, here. All I take from your post is what I knew going in - EITHER school offers a damned good degree.

That was my first thought - has to be satire.
December 20th, 2018 at 5:32 PM ^
Lesson 1: all the things you shouldn't do (unless you're really good at winning football games).
December 20th, 2018 at 5:32 PM ^
I don’t know, I think I may sign up for this. But not until I’m done reading this new book I bought:
Success on the First Date, by Bill Cosby.
December 20th, 2018 at 5:35 PM ^
Day is probably just going to be a figurehead. Urban will be pulling strings behind the scenes. It seems unusual that he is sticking around the school.
December 20th, 2018 at 5:38 PM ^
What purpose would that serve? Meyer's biggest asset is his recruiting ability. He's not going to be able to have much, if any impact on their recruiting if he's simply a behind the scenes guy.
December 21st, 2018 at 8:20 AM ^
UM has had recruits meet with professors; I would think OSU would do the same with Meyer. Just have him on staff as an adjunct prof and let him be the designated "closer" for big time recruits.
Honestly, I think this is what is actually going to take place.
OSU has no shame.
December 20th, 2018 at 5:35 PM ^
I hear they are also hiring David Duke to teach a class on the civil rights movement.
December 21st, 2018 at 1:51 AM ^
True. Duke is controlled opposition though. Was not surprised to learn that.
December 20th, 2018 at 5:36 PM ^
Listed in the course guide as Hypocrisy 101?
December 20th, 2018 at 5:37 PM ^
Laughing my ass off because of course OSU is OK with this. I bet he’s a consultant to the football team in some capacity too...
December 20th, 2018 at 5:38 PM ^
In similar news, Cardale Jones will be his grad assistant.
December 20th, 2018 at 5:39 PM ^
2018: the year that reality made parody and satire obsolete.
December 20th, 2018 at 5:39 PM ^
Urban will be back coaching OSU in 3 years after Day bolts to the NFL. Book it.
December 20th, 2018 at 5:52 PM ^
I thought he would bolt for anyplace but Ohio in the near future but it sounds like he's sticking around Columbus now. They're going to fit him into their AD with a title TBD.
December 20th, 2018 at 10:41 PM ^
when are you 'bolting'?
December 20th, 2018 at 5:40 PM ^
Hahahahahahaha
December 20th, 2018 at 5:40 PM ^
Good for him
December 20th, 2018 at 5:41 PM ^
Just heard this on 97.1 and came here to post...
In other news, I heard today about some other new teaching assignments this fall:
-Genghis Khan will be teaching "Human Rights in Asia."
-Ted Bundy will be teaching "Post-Modern Feminism"
-Eric from "Billy Madison" will be teaching "Business Ethics"
December 20th, 2018 at 6:20 PM ^
-Plaxico Burress will be teaching a seminar on gun safety
-Bobby Knight (Class of 1962) will be teaching "Anger Management"
-There will also be a roundtable discussion on race relations with Roseanne Barr, Paula Dean, and Dog the Bounty Hunter
December 20th, 2018 at 6:52 PM ^
That roundtable would likely be pretty interesting actually. Certainly unique viewpoints represented there.
December 20th, 2018 at 5:42 PM ^
So basically the students will learn how to lie and cover up for people who beat their wives; and also how to fake an illness. Got it.
December 20th, 2018 at 7:48 PM ^
Well somebody has to teach those life skills to Ohio State students.
December 20th, 2018 at 5:51 PM ^

Get the fuck outta here! Seriously, what a joke that is.
December 20th, 2018 at 6:09 PM ^
They are tone-deaf in Columbus. They apparently don't mind the rest of the country laughing at them.
December 20th, 2018 at 6:10 PM ^
