OT: Worst Movie That You Ever Watched

Submitted by Santa Clause on

Simple question. What is the worst movie that you've ever seen? I nominate Howard the Duck, although the more I watch it now the more I laugh from it being so bad.

I grew up in a  small town in the West and so I knew pretty much everyone in the movie and had been in those houses and on those streets(figuratively), so I instantly had a touchstone with it and loved it, BUT I can absolutely see how someone wouldn't like it.

In a world where opinions are allowed in some countries - you should be in one where they aren't!

Unless you just expected everyone here to imply an /s when you said Napoleon Dynamite sucked? I mean, I could throw this football over that mountain

In the 90's everyone was still afraid of the AIDS and getting laid wasn't nearly as easy as it now. You had to put some time in, unless she was a total whore. /smack that girl on the ass until she cries. She'll love it. You can thank me later for what happens next.

Only movie I have ever walked out of...and I love crappy movies.

The recent SpongeBob movie my kids made me see was quite painful the 1st and 2nd times I had to endure them also.

The hype was 10/10. I went to the theater expecting to love it beause everyone said it was so good, it was garbage. No backstory, the plot moved too fast, the characters had no depth. Worst of all were the cheap disney laughs that they forced in there.

If it wasn't a Star Wars movie it would have never gotten the reviews or made as much money as it did.

I also really disagree. I went with no expectations, and was very pleasantly surprised.

Sure, they borrowed a bit much from A New Hope, but it was still very good.  Pretty much every actor had a great performance.

I think it's easily better than all of the prequels and maybe Return of the Jedi.

Also, The Gallows was pretty bad. It was only 70 minutes and was nothing but a jump scare fest. You knew nothing about the characters as they were just high school stereotypes and you didn't feel bad when any of them died.

Anything beyond Paranormal Activity 3 is just terrible. The 5th one is unintentionally funny as there is a part where a guy is shooting witches with a shotgun.

People crap on Unfriended but I actually thought it was really good. Of course not everyone can sit through 90 minutes of a movie that takes place on someone's computer. I found it extremely creative.

That's probably my answer as well, although seeing as I saw it via rifftracks not sure it counts.

Worst non-MST3K/Rifftracks movie I intentionally saw was probably Matchstick Men.  Nic Cage movie from like 2002 or 2003.  I barely remember what the point of it was, just that my friends and I walked out at the end extremely annoyed at the waste of our time.
