Go Tigers!!

I am really nervous about the week off, hopefully they come out refreshed and we don't see 2006 all over again.

Looking at the matchup purely on paper we have no excuse not to dominate SF, but we all know how that goes.  World Series champs or bust!

It's sort of interesting really that one of the people in the booth now for FOX - Tim McCarver - played against the last Triple Crown winner in the 1967 World Series actually.

As Zito goes to 3-2 on Cabrera, I appreciate the idea the idea that walking Miguel Cabrera and facing Prince Fielder seems like a nice problem to have...for the team that has Cabrera and Fielder.

Call me a bandwagon fan, whatevs. But as a Tigers fan that's only been paying attention since 2005-ish, can someone explain to me why they don't make the rules even between the leagues, what with the pitchers batting and all?

This strike zone is really a love-hate thing.  I think it works in our favor in terms of Zito vs Verlander, but it is still frustrating seeing what looks like a strike not being called.
