Quite possible the most effortless Hat Trick in World Cup history for Harry Kaine. Giving this middle aged Englishmen some hope moving forward.

Lets go Senegal and Poland!!!

This Japan-Senegal match has been riveting. The Japanese have really rallied since scoring. The first 15-20 minutes felt like men vs. boys, and now it seems completely reversed.

Japan and Senegal was a very entertaining match. England and Panama though.... go home Panama you’re....... shitty. How in the hell were they ahead of the US? Good grief man, they looked clueless.

Panama had to play the worst game in recent memory for that outcome.  To say John Stones was wide open would be a massive understatement, plus neither PK in the first half was even questionable.  Kane did a good job to bury both, but that's the two easiest goals he's ever going to score.

I don't think it was that bad a game from Panama. They attacked in the beginning. And they had to do that once they fell down 2-0 by the 30th minute. That opened up the defense for the English players to exploit.

Most teams are parking the bus in their half/box from get-go. Set pieces are the only way to open up the game and England was able to do that. 2 goals in the first 15-20 minutes and now Panama had to try to score. That opened up the defense more. Bada bing bada boom. If those two first two (or one) don't go in and instead Panama scored early, we would have seen a completely different game.

US does not have a midfielder (most teams don't) to break down a defense when 7-8 are playing in their defensive third.

So glad to see that neither Japan nor Senegal sat back in the second half when the game was tied. Both went for the three points. Solid points earned. I picked Poland and Colombia to get through this group, might get neither right! If either teams lose this match, they’re officially out. A draw keeps them alive. Barely.

Wow, Columbia fans traveled for this. I thought Poland being closer to Russia would be the “home” team. Not so much.

Poland look absolutely terrible in this match. I didn’t watch them against Senegal, but I imagine it must have been the same. Lewandowski having almost no impact. Hard to believe that they only dropped 5 points in all of qualifying.

I absolutely love this commentator. In addition to having more technical expertise than any soccer color analyst I think I've heard in a long time, her description of the pass to set up that 3rd Colombian goal was amazing. "That was a filthy pass. It was so full of filth."

HAHAHAHA, I've never felt so dirty listening to a World Cup call. She's awesome.
