OT: That was quick
(This was noted in comment of OT: Kentucky Boots..., but I linked to more recent article)
Just saw this story about Memphis having "major recruiting violations" while under Calipari.

Should be interesting to see (a) what sanctions fall on Memphis, (b) how Calipari acquits himself, and (c) how closely the NCAA will review the surge in recruits heading to Lexington. My guess is that Memphis will receive a punishment similar to UM's (especially considering the scope of the problems that seemed to plague that program), but that Calipari will get off scot free.
Memphis' alleged transgressions are bad, but pale in comparison to the Ed Martin scandal.
sanctions often follow coaches.
More aptly coaches keep one program ahead of the sanctions.
hey, let's throw in a top recruit pleading guilty to breaking and entering for good measure.

of the board. In the words of Dr. Cox, How do you not get this? "That was quick" could refer to anything...is it that you hear that phrase quite often and just had to use it as your headline?
Too harsh?
amount of harshness.
I accept the harshness and apologize for my mistake.
