OT: Virginia Tech WR Marcus Davis Blocking
I saw this on Reddit's college football page this morning, and I thought I'd pass it along to the non-redditors. I'm so glad we don't have outside blocking like this. Pay attention to WR #7.

That really is hard to believe a guy could try that hard not to compete. I love that he was called out. If that happened more than one week, the WR coach should be fired. If it happens more than a couple, it is time for Beamer to call it a career. You can't let that type of effort go and not correct it.
I would love to hear the coach address this issue. I wonder if he has been asked about it as well.

I would hate to see him not have the ball thrown towards him on a passing play. I imagine he takes those plays off too. I would also be surprised if a teammate hasnt slugged him yet

With that lack of effort one might think he was pulling a "Scooter McDougel" and betting on the game? Something I would look into.

Kinda looks like our Oline on run plays at times..

He made harder effort to get outta the way than he did to get in the way of tacklers.

Wow - he seems to be going out of his way to not block anyone on some of these.
