OT: Verlander has a no-no through 5

Submitted by 719Yoop on

Can Verlander pitch his 2nd no-hitter of the season, he has 8 strikeouts but his pitch count is starting to get a little high.

Verlander's a machine.  That's three times this season he's at least taken a no-hit attempt deep into a game.  How many no-hitters do you guys think he'll end up throwing in his career?  I've got to think he's got a few more in him.

At least JV got a complete game, solidified his status as a Cy Young contender this year, and now the Tigers are in first place.

they didn't pull down the thread. Really surprised. JV should be an All Star, Avila should be an All Star, Sherzer should be in with his win total, Cabrera leads the AL in walks I believe, Martinez frightens me when he takes the plate and could get then nod, and Jhonny Peralta could be the best off season pickup we've had in a long long time. Very underrated, right up there with Polanco in my book. Wonder how many of our spots will go to the Stankiees, though.

Even worse is the fact that every team has to be represented.  SO after the stupid New York fans vote in 4-5 starters (2-3 they don't deserve) every team has to be represented so guys like Jhonny Peralta and Victor Martinez might get left on the outside looking in.

Really sad.

JV's curve and change, are as good as his fastball.  He sure was dealing today. The Indians never had a clue what was coming. They were just over powered.

Of course I never see them until after the game because....

I also love that JV is such an animal that I can refer to this kind of thing as "these threads."

How many idiots post here? At least 89, obviously.

There is no such thing as a jinx. Superstition is for small-minded fools.
