some hitters are just dumb. why anyone would swing at bondo's slider is beyond me. i would dare him to throw 3 for strikes, and if not, crush his mediocre fastball. same thing with ex-cub marmol. so glad he's outta here.

Bonderman has always had an, at times, devastating slider.
It's tough to lay off a pitch that looks like a strike and breaks so much and so late. That's the key, it breaks really late.
