OT UConn's third string qb trick-shot video

Submitted by TXWolverine44 on

Thought that this was a pretty cool little video made by John McEntee, a qb for UConn. I'm not sure how this translates to game type situations but he is a pretty damn accurate quarterback. (I was the most impressed by the throws he made while sitting down in the basketball stadium)

It's true that I'm physically incapable of making some of those throws at my advanced age (as evidenced by my avatar), and it's fair to say I could never have made some of them even in the prime of life (like the ones he made while seated), but ...

How many attempts did he need to hit those targets?  No information on that ...

Even if there were many takes, the fact that in some cuts he makes more than one shot in a row without the video cutting out is impressive.  Like the halfcourt backwards bank shot followed by a toss into the other basket.  I'm impressed regardless.

I don't care if it took as many takes as the late Curt Henning's "Mr Perfect" videos. This video is very entertaining, and the QB has "screen presence" for which a lot of out-of-work actors would donate various body organs.

Awesome.  He needs to team up with the Coner when he graduates.  They will school fools throughout the nation and leave them twisted with chalk around their neck.

This kid IS his own halftime show AND he could actually be the QB.

Mr. Brandon, make a pitch - when Denard needs a rest, this would be an awesome possibility on the depth chart.
