OT: (Title Edit) Mizzou QB Maty Mauk does Cocaine off a Table while Being Videotaped because he is Brilliant and Wise

To distract from our moral outrage over "Decommitment Gate Part 5," here is a video allegedly showing Missouri QB and 2013 SEC All-Freshman team member Maty Mauk doing a line of cocaine:

Thoughts: What an incredible dumb ass. He knows he is being filmed. WHY ALLOW THIS?

 

Plus, while I am no cocaine-use expert, it sure appears that he fails to actually snort the line of cocaine successfully. So he may have just ended his college football career for "almost" doing coke. Wow.

 

EDIT: I edited the thread title to be less click-baity. I don't think I succeeded, but whatevs...

He was suspended indefinitely but to me he has a pretty decent defense for this one. First, he didn't actually snort anything, he either pretended to or tried to depending on how you spin it. Second, there is no way to prove that the line is cocaine or anything illegal. By the time the video surfaced, I am sure the cocaine was out of his system so he probably has not failed a drug test. Getting flimed "pretending" to snort "some sort of white powder" is stupid but not illegal. You are allowed to be stupid.

jackass would pretend to snort cocaine while being the starting qb of a D-1 cfb team? Not even Manziel would he would actually snort it. There's no way he wont be suspended for some amount of games because no university wants their football teams starting qb to even have a video of him pretending to snort cocaine thats just idiotic. Whatever the situation is hopefully the kid gets what he deserves and learns his lesson from it.

Most of which are not football players either.  Average people allow extremely bad videos/pictures of themselves to end up on social media which employers have learned to check before offering jobs.  And it's hard to get rid of this stuff once it's on the web.

I mean...sure, I own that shirt.  And yes, that's my hair, but coach, that's not me, man.  I was at the libarry studying for some test.  I bet that wasn't even blow.  The stuff I get is much whiter than that, I mean...um, that stuff looked more like salt or possibly chalk, man.  If you give me a few minutes to call my friends, I can get you a clean pee sample, too.

From what I've been reading, it seems like it's a very known thing around campus that Maty enjoys riding the white lightning. Supposedly he got suspended earlier in the year because one of his teammates told his coaches he was selling cocaine. If it was only one person saying this is the case, I probably wouldn't believe it, but there are multiple websites I've seen the same things written about him. Hopefully he gets help before it's too late.
