OT: Tigers vs. Mariners 4/16
Fister is on the mound. Hopefully he can get at least 7 in and leave with a comfortable lead. Hate this bullpen already.
Top of the first: Tigers already up 1-0

Fister is so fun to watch when he's clicking. Great arsenal and knows the art of pitching

The top 4 in the lineup are something to behold right now, obviously having 3 guys hitting .390 and above is unrealistic but it's still amazing to see what this team can do, especially if V-Mart starts to come around.

Also, didn't we get him from Seattle?

Fister... He has some unbelieveable stuff... Props to Dombrowski and the scouts for seeing the potential in him. Love watching him pitch. If only I felt the same way about the bullpen.

For those of you that haven't read this you probably should, as Hokemaniac said credit to the front office for seeing in Doug what others didn't.

Fister is the best sub .500 pitcher in the game... it is great that he is winning now that he is on a good team.

The Tigers starting staff is the best that I have seen in my lifetime and that is saying a lot.

Bring Victor home!

Jim Price had to break out the Yellahammer to describe Fister's curve tonight

Ah yes the old "Art of Pitching"

WMU? Nice area.

2-1 Seattle. Fister needs to take a deep breath and keep those pitches from moving to the middle of the plate. He'll be okay.

Miggy hits a shot to center. Tigers back on top 3-2

Terbush is warming up to come in.

Torii Hunter has been a difference-maker for this team. I expected him to provide a spark, but he leads the AL in hits?! Didn't expect that this early.

Tight game, looking like we'll get another chance to see what our bullpen is made of. That closer situation makes me nervous in every game like this.

Man Avila is struggling thus far in the early season, we need him to get that short swing going.

I agree. Maybe it's the fact that he is a hard worker, or the standard quality for the catcher position is so low throughout the mlb, but it seems like he gets an extreme amount of love considering his dwindling production.

The ascension of Austin Jackson continues, what a great fucking AB.
Back to back walks with the sacks juiced gonna make me breathe a little easier heading to the ninth. Tigers up 6 to 2.
Tigers win 6 - 2
Benoit gets them 1-2-3 in the ninth.
How can you tell it's fake Jim Leyland and not real Jim Leyland?
and no smokes.
