Like it or not, what you did to GET to the post-season no longer matters.

What you do IN the post season does.

 

AJ is my 2nd favorite player behind Miguel...but that does not make him immune from a negative comment.

And A-Rod is a choke artist in the playoffs.  We don't need to get all pissed about a guy struggling with the bat, especially when we're up 2-0.  There's always going to be at least one person in the lineup that is slumping.  It's baseball - it's a game where a 30% success rate makes you an elite player.

And it's pointless to get into a "AJ is not a lead-off hitter" debate right now.  We are what we are and he is what he is.  We're not going to make a mid-series trade for super-duper traditional lead-off guy.

Man this is going to be a weird game.  It'd be nice to have the Yankees bullpen and have the luxury of going to matchup pitching in the fourth inning when needed.

Ron Darling is killing me with his comments. I figured a former Met would hate the Yanks. Maybe he always wanted to play for them or something.
