Tonight I sat in a family oriented sports bar (here in NC) and there was a Bama fan in the bar. She had to be one of the loudest, most abnoxious people I've ever come across. Mind you, Bama was playing Vandy . . . yeah . . . that's why she had to get up off her chair sloshing her Budwieser and yelling profanities, etc etc. It was not a good showing for ye olde bama bitch this evening.

I hate abnoxious people....

From my 4 years at UM and 5 years at A&M, I got plenty of experience with OhioSt and TxTech. As bad as OSU fans are, Tech are worse.
Recent events that Tech fans have done:
- Thrown batteries at opposing fans
- Start fights in the stands with opposing fans
- Attempt to impale opposing fans with a torn-down goal post
- Put horsecrap inside a visiting team's bus*, spray paint other busses
- Taunt opposing team's players when they're injured and laying on the ground
This is why I'm really happy A&M is going to the SEC and never has to play against Tceh** again.
*they vandalized a Lubbock bus that was rented by A&M. So it'll be Tech graduates cleaning it up. FAIL

Not to mention graffiti A&M's campus with their Interlocking TT.

Have fun getting pounded in the SunBelt conference after the Big12 implodes in a week. :)

goodbye gift from the Big 12, guys. Do you know how expensive manure can be?
October 9th, 2011 at 12:23 AM ^
Planting a winter crop of alfalfa and spreading the manure will greatly help to replenish spent nutrients in a fallow field. Texas A&M should really appreciate the gesture.

In Columbus and Lansing they burn shit. In Texas they throw it.
October 9th, 2011 at 12:15 AM ^
In Texas, the shit is on the outside of the bus. In EL and Columbus, the shit is on the inside of the bus.
October 9th, 2011 at 12:17 AM ^
A&M athletic director Bill Byrne said Saturday manure went "from one end to the other" inside one bus that couldn't be locked. The others had manure along the exterior. He tweeted that the outsides of all the buses had vulgarities "spray painted" on them.

As a native of Waco, TX, I can tell you with all certainty, one thing so common as to be beyond remark in Texas is barnyard shit. I promise you that much.

sound like something one of our rivals would do

What a shitty thing to do.
Sorry. I couldn't help it.

Texas A&M buses are great.....FOR ME TO POOP ON
/texas tech
Had a friend in the Navy who was an Aggie. The way he talked about Texas Tech fans I'm guessing he's the least surprised person in the world right now.

I just saw a reaction shot from Mike Sherman.
October 8th, 2011 at 11:59 PM ^
I had absolutley nothing to do with this...... *shifty eyes*

We like to keep things classy here in Lubbock.
October 9th, 2011 at 12:06 AM ^
there weren't some Olio fans there emptying their coolers?

down there at A&M

Am I missing something, or are you knocking guys at A&M who are cadets by saying many of them don't go into the service? I'm just curious; I think many of them do (right?). If so....low brow, perhaps.

It's one of the six senior military colleges (non-service academies) in the US.
Cadets at an SMC are authorized to take the ROTC program all four years, but taking a commission upon graduation remains optional, unlike other colleges where ROTC cadets are required to sign a contract to take commission before entering their final two years.
October 9th, 2011 at 10:27 AM ^
to purchase $2500 leather boots and walk on the grass is about the most antithetical thing to real military service I can think of.

Want to prevent this? Lock the damn busses up
October 9th, 2011 at 6:47 AM ^
Someone knew where to get that much manure.
October 9th, 2011 at 6:53 AM ^
isn't there that much manure in Texas? Check anyone's backyard and you'll find a healthy supply.

That A&M flew to Lubbock and those busses were owned by a Lubbock-based company owned by a Tech grad.
October 9th, 2011 at 1:16 PM ^
see my signature. For the first time in my life, I can say I have something in common with Texas A&M.
