OT: Tennessee now interviewing Jeff Brohm.

Submitted by NFG on

In what only can be described as the worst scenario possible for Purdue football, ESPN is stating that Tennessee and Brohm are in talks regarding their vacant head coaching position. If true, this is very unfortunate for Purdue fans after living through 4 years of crap. If this comes to fruition, I hope Purdue offers Bo Pelini, who is very similar in mentality and approach.

Because Tennessee is a tire fire right now, I'd be surprised if a big name went there. Frankly, they need someone like Brady Hoke who can clean up the program (though maybe with a better OC, like Walt Bell). Then again, we saw how Hoke handles the pressures of an angry fanbase.

I'm sorta surprised that RR's name hasn't surfaced. I think it would be a bad move for both RR and Tennessee, but dumb moves seem to abound these days in college football.

I thought the notion of Pep Hamilton being allegedly in consideration for the ASU job was ridiculous, but Herman Edwards is ten times as incomprehensible.
