is a historical figure of which i have never met. yet i beleive he did some great things for this country. i am not being sarcastic. i believe it is a good thing to say good things about people whether we have met them or not. saying negative things about people only makes us feel better about ourselves. however, i dont fault anyone or condemn anyone for what they want to say. i received some negs up north of here for a response on this topic for things i believe in. i was not negative towards anyone on this blog and yet that is how life goes. so i am just sayin'.

Believing stories you've heard and read about George Washington is easy because they're all basically believable. He chopped down a cherry tree and never told a lie: big whoop. On the other hand, stories about jesus--who (allegedly) lived in a time when people didn't have even the most basic grasp on scientific knowledge that we take for granted today--walking on water, restoring the sight of a blind man, and turning water into wine are simply inane. There is no basis in fact for those tales. Moreover, even if the stories about GW are untrue, you're not basing your value system around him like you are with that bearded "prophet."

that the same people who hate him for his over-exposure seem obsessed with him and information about him. Start of spring football, awesome hockey run, recruiting, NCAA b-ball, Wings playoff race, Lions draft, Tiger's spring ball, and we're digging up this guy why again?

I find someone being told to shut the fuck up for requesting a prayer session to be hilarious. I don't have a problem with Tebow at all, and don't see why people do, but I would have cracked up if I was there.

The pool of players who'll enter the NFL through the 2010 draft is regarded as one of the best and deepest in years. But plenty of them also have a weakness for a girl named . . . Marijuana. Don Banks of SI.com reports that, according to one personnel exec, 10 or 11 players with first-round grades have been red-flagged for enjoying the fumes of a certain type of burning green leaf.

apparently people took my comments so personally they decided to neg me a lot. yesterday i could see points, now i dont see any. so i assume i have less than 20 now. all for stating my opinions in which i did not put Christ in anyone's face nor condemn any one who neg bombed me with language that most of the country who is on government assistance uses. not only is the maturity of some of the posters on this site dissapointing but also their class is dispicable! i come on here as a fan of michigan athletics and i started to see my points rise and it began to be fun. with those classless mgobloggers that neg bombed me the fun has lessened a little. still i will try and get up and continue to be positive and be a fan of reading exciting news about my favorite team!

Speaking about religion is generally looked down upon around here. However, if religious people shouldn't shout their beliefs from the mountaintop on here, then atheists or agnostics shouldn't condemn religion on here, either.

You are a Tool. Did you know that people can look up your old posts? I did. Your very first post on Sept. 30, 2009 @ 10:33 was this: http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/back-spartan-stadiummidnight-maize-ms-paint… Complaining about the The Shredder's use of "god damn". Your next one was on Oct. 15, 2009 @ 12:26 about this: http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/ot-battle-douchebags#comment-244956 A political insult about Obama. Your 3rd was Oct. 21, 2009 @ 10:42 with more of the same: http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/vote-zoltan#comment-250686 A comment about black/white athlete awards %. (not sure what your point is) So your first three comments on MGoBlog were about: 1. Religion 2. Politics 3. Race Have you ever read Brian's rules around here for what topics should be off limits, or at least have the common sense to see that you are getting negged because you can't seem to keep YOUR mouth shut about topics that are personally important/offensive for you? I have no inclination to dig further into your posting history, I already see a clear pattern. 1. Make inflammatory comments/ be the morality police 2. Whine like a little bitch when the majority doesn't appreciate you Epinions. Now we get "any one who neg bombed me with language that most of the country who is on government assistance uses. Are any of your comments even remotely related to football/everyday life? Or is that question just another poor/liberal/atheist attack on your godliness? Now you want to start talking about -points? . . . good luck with that.

you seem like and intelligent dude so i will give you the benefit of doubt! in my original response for defending Tebow my thoughts were about him being a good person and that he should not be scrutinized for wanting to pray even if the story were true, which it is not! look at my post i did not condemn anyone of even judge anyone, most of all those to whom slandered me in calling me a Jesus Freak! 1) your argument for your first point me for religion is baseless and REACHING; 2) secondly i made a comment about millions of people unREASONABLY voting for obama. i could see where this was wrong to bring politics into the forum (chalk one up for my bad). 3) thirdly my comment about the language being that of those most likely on government assistance to speak that way is not racial because poverty knows no color my friend. i am sure you know that so your third attack is also baseless and REACHING! so you decided that you are not inclined to dig further into my posting history. therefore basing your post on three posts. two of which i have refuted and the other i have taken note of and will learn from going forward. next i dont neg anyone because i dont want to be negged. i think i was trying to figure out how the whole +1/-1 thing worked on the sides of the comments boxes and pressed the down arrow and it showed 1 less point so i then gave two points because i did not want to do wrong. i am human just like the rest of you all and i want to see success so i try to be positive and yes i can get passionately caught up in a post or story that are personally important/offensive to me. going forward i will for sure try to keep that to a very small minimum. as far as the rules i am sure that i am not in the minority of those that have broken them. for me personally that does not make it right, as such i must hold myself to a high standard and if i failed the rules then i will be more thoughtful towards them going forward. i have asked more than once for someone to help (by me posting my email for a private message) me with the ebb and flow and ruling culture of the entire site. if you had of dug deeper you might have seen that one. i have observed a lot without posting and i have read a major disdain for the freep because of their supposed hatred (of which i tend to agree) of M athletics. basically it has been chalked up to bias and poor reporting with sketchy sourcing at best. i might say the same toward you dude in your reporting on me. you took what you thought might make your post sound better without digging a little deeper and i have debunct your argument! i wonder how it feels for you at the moment you type your words hidden behind your computer in saying i whine like a little b#@ch? there is no logical sense for you to respond to this because in all probability we will never meet face to face! so you condemn me for what i type but where is your accountability behind your words. or is calling names, as if you were in grade school an acceptable part of the rules? lastly dude; religion, politics, race and whatever else you can thing of aside. i am a fan of the FREAKIN UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN WOLVERINES! where do you get off treating someone on your same side, who roots for our wolverines probably in similar passionate ways as you and every other mgoblogger? if you would like to speak about this privately my email is [email protected]. if not then GO BLUE and i will go on to enjoy my first ever spring game attendence as i am sure you are going to enjoy rooting for the wolverines to be better on the field and off of it!

next i dont neg anyone because i dont want to be negged. i think i was trying to figure out how the whole +1/-1 thing worked on the sides of the comments boxes and pressed the down arrow and it showed 1 less point so i then gave two points because i did not want to do wrong. If you act like a sanctimonious ass, and talk gospel stuff you will be negged. Every time. And you can only vote once, so I doubt your tale about correcting a miscast vote. i am human just like the rest of you all Are you sure? as far as the rules i am sure that i am not in the minority of those that have broken them. for me personally that does not make it right, as such i must hold myself to a high standard and if i failed the rules then i will be more thoughtful towards them going forward. i have asked more than once for someone to help (by me posting my email for a private message) me with the ebb and flow and ruling culture of the entire site. if you had of dug deeper you might have seen that one. Dude, you're taking this whole thing a bit overboard. if you had of dug deeper you might have seen that one Had of? Negged for grammar. And it's probably not a good idea for you to post your email on here, considering... You were probably just signed up for a lifetime of bestial porn. Good luck.

I'll second that: it's a REALLY bad idea to post your email on here. It's an even worse idea when the email you post is the one you use in your capacity as a public school teacher. Since someone has already replied to your post (rendering you incapable of editing it), ask a moderator to remove the reference to your email address to prevent the kind of pranks TIMMMAAY cited.

i think i need cut my losses with this one and regroup. this is trippin me out just a bit. i will say to the advice about my email, thank you! i am really not good with computers and i guess i was naive in putting my email out there. i dont know who or how to ask for a moderators help on removing it. i believe i put my email out there in another post as well. you guys have me a little scared as to what could happen with my email. i definitely do not want to put any kids in harms way or affect my district either! any other advice would be greatly welcomed! thanks and i look forward to talking more about sports with you all!
