OT - Sweet Adidas Kicks

Not sure if people have seen this, but adidas actually allows you to custom-design your own shoes (based on an existing model ofc).  They got a bunch of different styles, and they have all the right colors for epic maize-n-blue shoes.  They even have "sun" - our "new" uni color (since Nike copyrighted maize, adidas 'invented" sun) - as a choice for almost everything.

I decided to trick out some sweet gazelles.

Try it out for yourself and share designs.

I would make the middle stripe sun as well, and the toe white, but that's just me. If I didn't already have UM adidas and flip flops I might be able to justify moar shoes.

Yep, these are pretty bad ass.  I agree the middle stripe should be sun as well.  And I like changing the interior to sun... the off blue looks weird to me.  I just might have to get these!

Anyone know any of these shoes that come in widths? I've got wide feet and I usually have to buy new balance (12 EEEE).

But i'd love one of these. I checked out a couple different styles on the website, and there is a "Width" option, but for all the ones i looked at they are only available in medium widths

okay, two revised candidates...

upon further review, i do like having the stripes be all sun.  i do like the lighter blue, cuz it seems a bit less serious.

In addition to the block M's, I know on some of the styles at least you can get embroidery on one of the stripes.  I think adding "MICHIGAN" on each shoe steps it up to another level.

If I (or my wife, for that matter) didn't have 733 better ways to spend $115...

Mi Adidas UM Sambas

It's weird, though.  Superstars had a really nice dark blue as an option, but this was the darkest I was offered for the Sambas.  Wish it was a shade darker.
