OT: Super Bowl 50 odds; Lions 30/1
John Rowser (1964-1966) was the first Wolverine to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl I with the Packers.
Who will be next at Super Bowl 50?
- Seahawks - 6/1
- Patriots - 7/1
- Packers - 8/1
- Broncos, Colts - 12/1
- Cowboys (lol) - 18/1
- Eagles - 25/1
- Lions, 49ers, Steelers, Saints, Ravens - 30/1
The Browns are 70/1 with the Raiders (who are still in play) at dead last with 300/1.
My pick is Lions-Browns at Super Bowl 50: Armageddon

Given how weak the AFC is, I wouldn't be surprised if NE makes it again. Is Seattle going to be able to keep all that defensive talent while giving Wilson a mega contract?

which is surprising considering he getting old for a RB.(29 in April)

Wilson was very unimpressive. Threw a bunch of jump balls that his receivers managed to grab. Plus, didn't it take more than a quarter for him to complete his first pass?

Looks like a lion to me. If that's not a mane around its throat, what is it - a goiter?

If it were a goiter and not a mane, the one thing that I think we can say here is that it might be well past mere iodine treatment at this point.
Then again, the idea of someone in a halftime show riding a tiger with a goiter is a rather amusing one, although I am not sure the NFL would appreciate inserting humor in quite that fashion.

I hate admitting to having seen the music video, but it was a tiger in the msuic video, but in this case it is pretty clearly a lion.

Definitely a lion, her song even has the lyrics, "louder than a lion."

They met four times in the 50's with the Lions three of the matchups. It would be richly appropriate if they ever met in the Super Bowl. Both franchises have had a lot of great players.
Otto Graham, Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Calvin Johnson, Alex Karras, Joe Schmidt, Clay Matthews Jr...to name a few.

were that the Lion's will see the Superbowl before Super Bowl 100.

Not as long as the Fords own the Lions.
February 2nd, 2015 at 12:26 AM ^
Are they starting to use numbers instead of Roman numerals or is this just for SB 50?
February 2nd, 2015 at 12:40 AM ^
Announced a few weeks ago they will use "50" for SB50... no word from the leauge though thereafter.

The Lions are a million to one...every fucking year for the rest of our lives.
(probably our kid's and grandkid's lives as well)

Somehow, someway, the Lions will find a way to shoot themselves in the foot and screw things up. As they always do.
