OT-Spartacus Blood and Sand
The last time I was this excited about a TV series was Deadwood. With all due respect to Kirk Douglas this is not your Daddys Spartacus. I am not sure if there is anything else that is on Starz worth watching but this version of Spartacus looks like it has all the goods. The trailer is SFW-

I find Party Down to be pretty damn funny. Those of you with Netflix should check out season 1.
As far as Blood and Sand goes, I think it looks pretty interesting but not many shows can measure up to the greatness that was Deadwood (RIP *tear*).

Although the Spartacus preview did look pretty good. Might have to check it out at some point.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand is probably not worth your time. The preview made it out to be a mix of 300 and Rome the HBO series. I loved both so I was intrigued and when I was able to watch a pre-air of the first episode online I was pretty excited.
I got about 20-25 min into the show when firefox crashed and I didn't bother to reboot. Nothing about the show seemed to be done well. If you're looking for 300 style action you won't find it. If you're looking for a show to sort of pick up where Rome left off it's not here. I got bad acting, worse writing, and poor action. At least there are a lot of pretty people and the ladies do get naked (there was a blond in fur skins that particularly caught my fancy).
If you're like me you'll check it out anyway, but hopefully with tempered expectations.
