OT (sort of): Michigan Man won NBC's Million Second Quiz last night

Submitted by LSA Superstar on

Andrew Kravis, LSA '09, just won the Million Second Quiz last night on NBC.  He was on Michigan's Quiz Bowl team and was pretty much a trivia stud through and through.  He's also a Michigan Man and one of the nicest people you could ever meet.  He went on to Columbia Law School after graduation.

I've known Andy personally for a long time.  He's more than deserving.

Watched this for the first time last night, actually a pretty cool show.  It was really interesting that the top contestants lived together and all became close friends.  Like at the last match up between Andrew and the other leader Brandon for 2 million dollars, after Andrew won, Brandon was the guy cheering for him the most.  Definitely refreshing when compared to shows like Survivor where everyone hates eachother.

If you go to the NBC site for the show - LINK  - you can find the footage of Andrew's win. Congratulations to Andrew Kravis!

I like how his post-victory comments were a mix of practical and whimsical - pay of student loans, go to Europe. Sounds like a good celebration.

I too know Andy (as he's actually called) quite well, and you're right: Could not have happened to a nicer Michigan Man.

He's also won money on Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy before.
