The USMNT is in the CONCACAF Gold Cup semis, playing Honduras in Cowboys Stadium.

TV: Fox Soccer, 7PM EDT

Panama vs Mexico in the other semi at 10 PM.

Says one SI columnist, Brian Straus:

"The U.S. is blowing through opponents at will, many of whom appear to be operatig in first gear.  It's like watching the American women."

I mean... yes, it has been.  Great comparison!

 

Also -- any realize, we just basically beat Central America in the past 6 games?

- Guatemala (friendly)
- Belize
- Costa Rica
- El Salvador
- Honduras
- Panama (coming up)

Only Nicaragua is missing.. and they're the lowest-rated of the bunch.
