I grew up in Mt. Pleasant. Hits way too close to home. If it can happen in that sleepy mid-Michigan college town, can happen anywhere. Prayers to everyone there, and hope they catch the guy before more damage is done.
The problem is that it does and has been happening everywhere... 20 times since the beginning of the year (61 days) in 16 different States.
college kids being what they are, this could just be he's pissed that his gf broke up with him? Or maybe a bad drug deal? Could be any number of things other than a "school shooting".
It is literally a school shooting. It is a shooting at a school. That's the definition.
But it's a college kid and that's what they do!

I don't have large classes, and I get some of the smartest students being a physics teacher, but in the past two years I've had students who believe:
1) The moon landing never happened
2) The Illuminati are real and in control
3) Astrology
4) Hunters and meat-eaters are morally equivalent to murderers and should be jailed for life
5) The Mandela effect is real
6) Ford and GM have plans for a 1 MPG car but don't make them because EVIL
I could go on.
I guess we don't disagree on everything.

...information leaks out of the federal government? Now imagine hundreds - if not thousands - of people (many of them children) participating in a faked shooting and then keeping that quiet for years. If that seems nearly impossible, that's because it is.
