Working outside. I've got my smoker going, the Tigers on the radio and sipping on an Arcadia Ales IPA.
It's all good, except for the Tigers right now. I think they've earned a pass, seeing how their season's gone so far.

The Tigers just got one back on a J.D. Martinez solo shot.

Still started into the Blue Moon over the that seven-run half-inning the White Sox just put up. Sometimes, it seems when Sanchez doesn't have it, he really doesn't have it.

Yard work and house work done, groceries bought, chicken legs on the grill smoking. Bourbon later. Great day. Wlaked in the woods for 2 hours with my daughter looking for morels, unfortunately we found none.

Recipe for chicken legs: aluminum pan with apple wood chips under the grates. On low for about 3 hours. Sauce: kroger brand spicy garlic wing sauce, can of chicken broth, stick of butter, 1/2 cup of lemon juice, mccormick roasted garlic seasoning (1/3 bottle) sprinkled on legs and in sauce. Dunk legs in sauce every 1/2 hour or so. Keep legs over aluminum pan.

So figured I'd throw this in here as j have no idea where to start and get some actual opinions.

I am thinking about getting into the nice bourbon/whisky/scotch game but am as amateur as you can get. I don't want to start bottom rung as I want to enjoy it and not be turned off by it. What do you all recommend and where would you all begin?

Went mountain biking for a few hours and then hit the local taproom afterwards. Home now and going back and forth between 90-minute IPAs and All-Day IPAs. A great day.
