OT: Ripping YouTube audio?
I call upon the highly computer-savvy denizens of the Blog to assist me. I am looking for a simple (batch-processable) way to get the audio from YouTube videos converted to mp3. I can DL the flash files and convert them to other types of video with some free tools, but the resulting files are still huge and contain video when sometimes all I want is the audio. Any ideas?

Go to cnet.com and download the 'Free Sound Recorder' under audio/mp3 software.
This is the one I used... there's plenty of others.

Edit: Oops, wrong link. I changed it.

I always use www.zamzar.com ... It gives you 15 audio/video options to choose from and sends you a link right to your email.

I have always used zamzar (convert to mp3 so you don't have to worry about it converting to video) and have never had any problems with them emailing me crap or making me download anything.

i'd go with the software--a lot of those sites contain malware
