OT - Red Wings game 3 not on Versus

Submitted by Maizerage05 on

Pittsburgh-Montreal game 3 is on Versus nationally tonight, and the Red Wings/Sharks will only be on FS Detroit.  For those of us outside the FS Detroit viewing area, hopefully there will be some decent streams tonight.  If anyone finds one, please post!

Need a win tonight, Go Wings.

*Apparently Versus will "join in progress" the Red Wings game after Pittsburgh/Montreal concludes (7pm Eastern start).  So maybe the last half of the 3rd period will be on Versus.

Do they honestly make a call every time a Sharks player falls down?

Prediction: there will be at least one Sharks 5 on 3 PP in the 3rd Period.

Versus had the decency to defer broadcasting to the local fox sports affiliate. How many times do I have to watch the fucking Joe Thornton goal replayed?

I hate blaming the officials for losses, but the officiating in this series has been atrocious and they are handing the Sharks the series

Pavel Datsyuk ever again, versus announcers. Please. One has had nice little run lately. The other is a hall of famer if he plays another half decade. Fuck.

looked horrible the entire third period, San Jose deserves to have scored twice, at least.  The calls in this game haven't been anywhere near as bad as the first two games, at least you can almost pretend that some of them are right, if you close one eye squint and tilt your head just right.  I don't understand why the NHL has a diving rule if they don't use it.  I don't understand why Nabokov is a goalie when he's a sure gold-medalist diver.  I don't understand why the Wings have looked like crap in third periods more often than not this year.  Especially with a lead.  Even the games we've held on to, we've generally been outscored in the third, from the games I'm remembering right now.  I hope Babcock is laying the wood right now.

Your headlines for tomorrow:

"Wings get wronged by officials again"

"Earth continues to rotate"

"Old man yells at cloud"

Time to root for the Montreal Fighting Cammalleris, the Boston Hunwicks and the Chicago Maddens I guess...
