OT: PLAYER/COACH NICKNAMES

Submitted by Eskimoan on

Ok guys, looking for nicknames that you and your buddies have for athletes or coaches. I have read some pretty funny and clever ones on here before that gave me a good laugh, though I could not tell you what they are off the top of my head. (Reason for this post). Not looking for popular or common names, (ie,  King James, Black Mamba, Megatron), but original names that you or your friends have made up .

Example, my buddy and I always call Najeh Davenport "Closet Shitter" and he will be that forever because.. well, google it if you don't know.

Gerald Laird will forever be "Laird Ass" , and we have a slew of others, but I want to hear yours !

Prince Fielder was "sweet baby bitch tits" as his dad was just "bitch tits" (both said in a non hateful way, really). That started when the father was playing at old Tiger Stadium & I was with family. Some college age guys kept happily yelling it after Fielder hit a grand slam. It stuck with us. So, when his son was here he was sbbt. At a game last year we lost 1-0 in the 9th because Prince went for home when the ball was already in the infield lol. We got tossed out, we lost and all drunkenly laughed "no sbbt....no!". So many more but all not funny to anyone else inside jokes.

Martavious Odoms - Octavium

Funchess - Pickles

GR3 - Medium Dog

And so many others that I can't think of right now. I will have to text my buddies tomorrow and try to think of the others.

was struggling a lot early in his Tigers career, we used to call him "Max Shitzer" a lot.  Gladly haven't used that nickname for quite a while.

I like to switch the first letter of their first and last names around. For example...Mhil Pickleson. For what it's worth, I also call him Moobies or Mits. Go ahead, try it everyone is doing it.

Dirk nowitzke is dirkules and trey Burke is burkules... at one time, before I matured a bit, the buckeyes and that scarlet and gray were the harlots and gays... I've shelved that one...

A few years ago the cardinals starting rotation included Jason Marquis and Mark Mulder, amongst others. I called them Marquis, Mark and the Funky Bunch (the other three being the bunch.) Never caught on.

Also, if you catch the Bears o-line on the sideline, sometimes you'll get "Long-Bushrod" ... unfortunately Gabe Carimi sucked, or we'd have Long-Carimi-Bushrod ... not really nicknames, but funny nonetheless.

I don't know about players/coaches, but I've kind of always wanted to be nicknamed 'Skaz'. Can't really dictate your own nickname though, especially when you get drunk ONE time and get a dinosaur tattooed on your ass.
