“It's home,” Sitkowski said. “Rutgers is home. I have great respect for Miami as well, but Rutgers is a great school, a great community. We have an opportunity to build a legacy and build a program here. We can ultimately change this thing around.”
Sitkowski visited Rutgers last month for an up-close and personal view of the new offensive direction. Coordinator Jerry Kill helped sway the talented gunslinger, and made Sitkowski feel like a priority since day one.
“It's important for me to start getting recruits and getting receivers and every position possible at home in New Jersey,” he said. “I want to get these guys to buy in and commit to Rutgers like I did.
