Story here. Signed to a future contract.

Maybe he can shove Barry Sanders out of the way during his contract-signing ceremony.

0% chance I root for the Lions if he plays meaningful snaps. I’ve been around the dude in person before, one of the biggest dickheads I’ve ever met.

Futures contract is not a big deal. They picked him off the scrap heap. There’s a chance he doesn’t even make it to a minicamp, depending how the draft and REAL free agent signings go.

This does look like the end of Rudock in Detroit, though.

I was so offended when he shooshed the student section after MSU beat OSU and went to the B1G CCG. How dare anyone treat our hated rivals like that. Beating them at football, I mean.

it was an after the season signing meaning he's at best a 3rd string, extra body to have for off-season camps. Chances he's even in training camp with them is probably 60%.

The NFL is so infuriating sometimes, let's recycle garbage quarterbacks and failed coaches over and over again. Maybe their fifth chance will be the charm. I hear Caldwell is a head coaching candidate again, maybe this time he'll have some great new ideas.

I thought they might finally have gotten what it takes to win with Quinn and Patricia...that ended they lost 48-17 to the Jets the first game. Just keep digging, guys.

The guy is a massive douchebag, but he did have a hell of a record at MSU. As much as I hate MSU and dont like Cook, I would have loved Michigan to replicate their 13-15 run with him

So, we all sat around and talked about how perhaps if they put some upward pressure on Matt Stafford, that might be the test RE: his future.

...and the Lions sign Connor Cook.

Yep. *cries*

Why do lions fans get so mad?  You are receiving the product you ask for. You sell out Ford Field every game.  If I own a business and I’m selling out my entire inventory, why would I change my product? The only change they should consider is how to get more seats in the stadium to meet the demands of the consumer who loves the product that is provided.
