assuming the above items are true:

how have OSU's gear audits not discovered items missing? they're supposed to account for all but one item which the player is allowed to keep yet i doubt this just started this year.

btw over/under on how many months before that tattoo place dies. bonus points awarded for manner in which it does: fire bombing? low sales? suspicious circumstances surrounding death?

It sounds like most of the stuff sold was of a personal nature, game jerseys, rings, awards, etc.  OSU probably only audits the important/expensive gear: Helmets, shoulderpads, cleats.

All of the other stuff is cheap by comparison.  Nobody cares about thigh pads.

For those wondering what the first 5 games are...

9/3: Akron

9/10: Toledo

9/17: at Miami (YTM)

9/24: Colorado

10/1: Michigan State

4 of 5 at home against teams that are weak and/or with new coaches.  Not sure how State is supposed to be next year

Those admission folks were making a big to-do about me needing to know how to write my name before I could come to OSU. Now I learn, I get real good at it, and I keep doing it and now they want to keep me from playing that football? Man....

Is anyone else kind of outraged by this?  Cam Newton is purchased for $180,000 and sees no suspension, and the whole SEC spends recruiting cycles ruining the lives of teenagers and sees no scrutiny.  In the mean time, OSU players get some free ink and sell their personal rings (stupid by the way) and get crucified for it.

While I take joy in osu's misery, I can't agree more with you. Not only is it known that Newton's dad tried to pimp him out and got away with it, but the NCAA took what seemed forever to put out contradicting statements. The NCAA seems to have moved Denard like fast on this decision.

The 5 players get to play in the bowl game and are suspended for the cake walk games at the beginning of the season.

They complained that we were cheating.... we got in trouble for PRACTICE. We're talking about PRACTICE.. Not taking money, no felonies..PRACTICE.

questioned my status as a fan or my sanity, and made me laugh just by being themselves and quoting what they heard on the radio; Remember when I told you we the day would come when we would be able to laugh at tOSU for being blessed with Pryor?

I am  happy to say none of that happened here. Of course, I was only reading then, not posting.

Yeah, I have posted this before. I will probably post it again. RR, you owe another silent prayer to the deity of your choice.

Did he sign it Terrelle Pryor, QB - the University of Ohio State? Just curious.

Maybe he added, "Best spread quarterback not running a spread offense?"

Future undrafted free-agent signee of the Browns?

Something tells me TP won't be B10 preseason offensive player of the year for 2011 (and, once again, isn't gonna show up on any of those fancy year-end award lists either).
