I am not sure why I still watch the Lions, but I do.

Anyways, should be fun to see if Best can get loose in space. Stafford should have a marked improvement over last year. The defense, who needs one of those?

The Lions will win today...I am feeling good before a game for the first time in about 10 years. The Bears offense with Martz will leave Cutler open to pressure. Stafford and company on offense will be able to score all day long. Lions will win 28-20

We just make these open NFL Football threads, so we can have one thread to discuss the day and teams, but still fall under the guidelines. The Lions will be prominent of course, but it opens it up without starting another thread that will be ziggy'd.
<br>Also want to mention for all Comcast users, NEXT Sunday, the 19th, the cable company is offering a free preview of Redzone. So those that haven't experienced the crack of the NFL, that will be your chance.

That was a pathetic drive. Draw on third and long? I don't care who you have at RB, or that Matt Stafford is young. He was the number one pick, if he can't make something happen than screw him.

I think Matthew Stafford will be good, but my point stands.

I thought the offense was supposed to be able to move the ball. Good receivers, tight ends, running back and we are throwing to Jerome Felton. What the duece?

My hometown gets mentioned after another nice first down catch by Scheffler, who was out here Friday night to watch the Chelsea football game.  Nice to see him contributing early.
