OT: New World Record in Super Mario Bros.

Favorite game when younger: Final Fantasy VII, I wasn't a little kid but I can't think of anything that really stuck with me as a "favorite" prior to it.

 

Favorite game as an adult: Mass Effect 1, followed pretty closely by Red Dead Redemption.

 

Also, Breath of The Wild was fun but seriously overrated.

All fighting games now. Street fighter, injustice. As a young lad contra was ones of my favorites

There was no dispute among my friends that could not be solved with a duel in either classic shooter.

I really liked Mario 3 back in the day.

I was pretty good at a crappy NES game called Mendel's Palace. No one could beat me since no one cared enough to learn how to play correctly.

NES = Super Mario Bros 3 (Megaman 2 a close second)

SNES = Super Metroid (Star Fox, F-Zero, Final Fantasy III honerable mentions) - this is probably the best system ever made

N64 = Goldeneye 64 (Zelda: Ocarina of Time a close second)

Gamecube = Super Smash Bros. Melee (Eternal Darkness honerable mention)

Wii = ? Help me out with this one  (maybe Mario Kart Wii or Mario Galaxy)

PC = Master of Orion 2: Battle at Antares (With original Starcraft, Command & Conquer, and World of Warcraft honerable mentions)

I never got into Sega, Playstation, or Xbox.

 

Mario 3 and anything Mega Man. And of course the all time smash hit classic Action 52.

But right now I’m addicted to Cuphead. Can’t wait to see that one played at AGDQ/SGDQ

Favorite growing up on PS1 was Metal Gear Solid. Can’t believe no one said that. That game was absolutely amazing. Resident Evil 1&2 were top notch too. In fact I even bought the remastered version of that for my PS4 over the summer. That was a ton of fun to play. For my 32nd bday a few weeks ago my wife got me a switch. I thought it would be something her and I could do sometimes but also if she was watching a show I could pick it up in handheld mode. I’ve been amazed with it. Splatoon is so much fun and the new Mario Kart is the best one since the one in N64. Either way I’m back in the gaming world recently. Easier with a teachers schedule.

Civilization V for the win. Love the game. I have been playing since Civ I and am obsessed with it.

I was never into a vatiety of video games, but the few I got into I was obsessed about.

2. Mario Super Sluggers for the Nintendo Wii

3. NBA Street

I’m having fun with PUBG now.

Love retro games.. I have retro pie installed on my rasberry pie so I can relive thousands of games. All the arcade games were my faves.

This guy would be 6 year old me's hero.

I love those summoning salt history of speedrunning video. That kid found his gig. Very well researched. I have been a fan for a while.

When I was in high school we got Pong. We played that for about 20 minutes.before getting bored with it.
