OT - NCAA 2011 - Michigan takes the field

Submitted by backusduo on July 13th, 2010 at 12:48 AM

Counting down the minutes until NCAA 2011 hits the shelf, and reading every review in preparation for my NCAA Marathon that is just about to begin, I ran across the Michigan Team Entrance posted by Ace.  http://youtu.be/VF2nB0zGzwY

I'm not going to lie to you, I get goosebumps watching them take the field, even if it is little animated men.  I can't help but remember Mesko's excitement as he began his year by almost taking his head off in his excitement to touch the banner. http://youtu.be/5IB5Noyv8Vw

I'm pretty sure that would be me if I had ever gotten to strap it on for Michigan.  It is an amazing privelege to be a Michigan Man, and it is great to see kids that understand that.  I think we are going to be pleasently surprised that in the 3rd year, these kids will never quit and execute more then not.  Get ready.  I think year 3 is the turning point.

That's the BTN only my friend. But you've gotta love the announcers last year saying something along the lines of "And the Wolverines have a great combination at QB with talented freshmen Tate Forcier and Denard Robinson. Speaking of great combinations, remember to use velveeta and rotel for your game day queso. Remember, it's not game day if there's not questo!" Whoever gets the job to write those "segues" is one lucky guy.

I loved what Denard said recently about the coming season: "Everybody's looking at Coach Rod. We're just tired of that. It's going to be a new team" (rivals). I think if we win the right games at the right time we could really ride the wave of momentum. As far as NCAA 11, thanks for posting the video. I am on the road for 2 weeks so I have to wait it out to get on the sticks unfortunately.

So far the game is amazing. I loved the entrance to the feild. I will say I was very stoked with the opening video to the game Michigan was in it a lot with only a few teams shown in it.

On my personal rating scale, this game has already achieved "baller status."  The opening video with Brad Nessler alone is damn near worth the price of purchase.

I will be picking up mine tomorrow as well. The only down is waiting for the roster people to do the rosters. Should be a good solid roster out by Friday or Saturday I am guessing.

Anyone else get a bug where Michigan wore their away jerseys while playing at home? I played UConn on my dynasty and Michigan was wearing the white jerseys. :/  Other than that the game played even better than I could have hoped.  After playing the demo, the actually game was a lot smoother.

UGH! Have to wait another 3 weeks til I get back to Ann Arbor so I can have my Xbox again.  I need some football in my life again and this game might just be what I need.

I ordered mine from Dell.com with the discount and it arrived yesterday.   I switched out Tate for Denard and bumped Denard's speed and elusiveness stats up to the mid 90's instead of the low 90's. Michigan's offense is electric with the new and improved zone read. Also, I thought it was cool that Michigan made a bunch of appearances in the opening credits (which are about 5 minutes long)
