The worst thing to happen would be to see Chicago-Pittsburgh in the finals. I would only watch it in order to hope for a meteor to strike the rink.

Who would have thought we could have three original six teams in the final four and the Wings wouldn't be one of them.  That would have been awesome to have Detroit / Chicago and Boston / Montreal.

This'll make the playoffs a little easier to watch now. With Pittsburgh out, it's anyone's cup now.

I think I'm gonna root for San Jose from here on out, but I wouldn't mind seeing an Original Six matchup between Boston and Chicago - with Boston winning of course.

Gotta feel good for Montreal.  It's the largest city in North America to have only one major-league team, so this is their only shot at the big time (unless you count the CFL).  And as Michigan fans know, going through a down spell hurts especially badly when you're used to being on top.  Hopefully we can follow suit on the gridiron.

Just let it go, man.  You guys that love to hate on Crosby will eat up the fact that Crosby was a no show in this series, but any logical person who has really watched many games (both NHL, international, and junior) knows that this is the first time in his career that Crosby has had a no show when it matters.  Ovechkin, despite his numbers, cannot say the same thing.

I did, and as you know as well as I do that, "showing up" has a hell of a lot more to do with goals and assists.  If you objectively look at what the two of them have done individually in the most important games in their careers it's not even a close comparision.  But yeah, go ahead, keep on going with the biased hate.  As I've said before, most Penguins fans do the same thing to certain Red Wings players as well and cheered just as much when the Red Wings lost this year as you all right now.  Frankly, I think everyone who does that, for both teams, come across as immature and pathetic.
