OT: MNF open thread/general pontifications thread

I care way too much about fantasy football and am losing by 6 in the first week of the playoffs. Have ODB, but he's in the lockerroom because of dehydration. So I'm watching this game, way too stressed out, don't feel like studying for my shelf, reddit is down, nothing happening on the board other than a throwback Paul Wall reference...anyone wanna discuss anything?

Here's my thought of the moment: Is it just me, or are there fewer official measurements these days in football? I dunno how recently I've noticed what I believe is this trend, but I swear I used to see them all the time, but hardly see them these days...

I'm down 10 in fantasy playoffs but neither I nor my opponent have any active players tonight so I am simply enjoying two mediocre teams throw deep on each other's bad seconaries. Hope ODB comes back in.

Big win in my MGoBlog league this week to clinch the playoffs over...somebody.

I apparently didn't do a good job remembering who joined that league, but if anyone reading is in the Cool MGoLeague for Rad Folks, congratulations on a great season! ...or tough luck on a crappy season.

I'm enjoying some Bell's Winter White, watching MNF and wrapping gifts up. All the wrapping looks like JPP did it with 1.5 hands but I don't think anyone will mind.

I'm on a first round bye in my ff league. The team I want to play is projected to lose-to the team who leads the season in points for-by one with Eli, Tannehill, and shane Vereen, other teams points are set.

I already won the one game that I care about (I'm out of the playoffs in the other leagues) so here's a CFB tidbit:

now just don't fumble. my team beasted out 110 points in a standard scoring league, and i had andy dalton and tyler eiffert go down in the first drive. unreal clutch performance by my squad.

You're right. There seems to be much fewer official measurements. I'd love to see a chart. But not enough love to make one. So I'll settle for this being a fact in my mind.

Fuck you Martin Mayhew. I still can't believe you took Eric fucking. Ebron over Odell Beckham, not to mention Taylor Lewan, Aaron Donald, Anthony Barr and Zach Martin. SOL
