OT - Michigan-related fantasy team names

Submitted by CWoodson on July 26th, 2010 at 7:28 PM

Fantasy football leagues are starting up, and it's time to start coming up with good Michigan-related team names for the upcoming year.  I've been rolling with variations on Big House and New Math in various leagues for a couple of years, and it's time to be more creative (or more accurately, leech off the creativity of others).

The goal is something that has something to do with Michigan football, past or present, but other than that I'm open to whatever.  Funny, intimidating, irrelevant, a joke only people who obsessively read Mgoblog would appreciate, whatever.

The alternative is a Venture Bros-related name: save me from being called Magic Murder Bag all year.

You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-man T-wolf pack. But when my sister brought Big House home, I knew he was one of my own. And my T-wolf pack... it grew by one. So there... there were two of us in the T- wolf pack... I was alone first in the pack, and then Big House joined in later. And six months ago, when Big House introduced me to you guys, I thought, "Wait a second, could it be?" And now I know for sure, I just added two more guys to my T-wolf pack. Four of us wolves, running around the desert together, in Las Vegas, looking for strippers and cocaine. So tonight, I make a toast!

Last year I was simply Hail to the Victors. The commish of the league was from Ohio and was obviously an OSU fan, so i had to go with somethin to rep the maize and blue. The best part was i kicked his ass when we played, thanks in large part to drew brees.

Ann Arbor Big Dawgs in the past, combines my alma mater and beloved Wolverines and also my #2 team UGA, long story but I got to know some UGA students that also went to Umich and after a few trips to Athens and the Worlds Largest Outdoor Cocktail party I found myself having another team to root for!
