Harbaugh brought him up here for an interview after Durkin left. He chose the Bama job instead.

He's got a lot of experience coaching in the SEC and recruiting in its footprint. You never know if a coordinator will successfully transition to head coach, but this looks like a very good hire, far better than a Tee Martin experiment.

Considering how many fumbles they've had on the one yard line with this search. Fat Fulmer will get all the credit. Hope Pruitt likes working for an arrogant a$$...oh, nevermind he's used to it!

This is a really bad hire. Pruitt apparently got in several fights with other members of the staff at UGA, UGA HR had to get involved from what I recall. Really ugly at the end at UGA. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.seccountry.com/georgia/uga-legend-fran… Butch was not liked because he was a hothead who apparently treated people poorly. They don’t need another one of these guys right now. If Fulmer thinks he can control him, he’s wrong.

For TN then. They way they botched this all up from the President to the former and new AD to the students, they deserve another Kiffin type circus. Tennessee has always thought they were better than they are. Manning's smug azz after Woodson won the Heisman exemplifies the program to a T

Where is Bo at now? Two names that surfaced a few years ago that you heard for jobs was Bo Pelini and Rich Rodriguez and I didn't see either one mentioned for any of the many openings

Pelini is coaching at Youngstown State while he still cuts checks from Nebraska. He is owed significant money as long as his base salary stays below a certain amount. Hopefully he backfills Solich at Ohio U when Frank decides to retire.

I remember when a lot of us were wanting Pruiit to replace Durkin before we hired Brown. This seems like a good hire. Pruiit has been successful everywhere he's been as a DC.

Tennessee fans get what they deserve. They spurned a better coordinator with significant and successful head coaching experience for this Chudd whose first HC job should be in the Sun Belt.

This is a good hire by Tennessee. Pruitt is a hell of a recruiter, his players love him, and he talks like the local yokels in Knoxville so the indigenous people will like him. A Yankee like Schiano could never ha we fit in there with his annunciation skills.

This also helps us in the long run with eyabi anoma the 5 Star DE. I don’t know how much but, it may just put us into first with him. Bama been a pain in the ass for Michigan. Never thought a Tennessee coaching hire would be beneficial.
