Voting ends Monday for the Name of the Year. Michigan is pulling for Iris Macadangdang, an '08 alum.
They're styling it an SEC vs Big 10 matchup because the other finalist is Barkevious Mingo, who bailed on Michigan for LSU.
Orson Swindle of Every Day Should Be Saturday reckons it's an EDSBS vs MGoBlog vote.

and have been campaigning for iris macadangdang all week. hopefully we get some votes from my kids...
Her name sounds like a good funk/r&b drummer makes his kit sound.
Doing the math, informally anyway, it looks like she is about 140 or so votes behind. They have to come from somewhere, and we only get to vote once.
It might take a "miracle finish."
I just emailed about 20 people in my address book and told them to vote Macadangdang.
