This guy is a fucking moron. So Kiel does to him what he did to Indiana and Oklahoma? That's like giving a crook $100 to hold for a minute than being shocked when he and your money disappears. Sounds more like his lack of intelligence more than anythin was keeping him from ever getting the chance to coach at Michigan

If anyone said that about someone who pulled a Terrelle Pryor on Michigan, most people here would think it was great.  Kiel was 11 on a scale of 10 as a diva during the recruiting process.  He committed to three different schools.  MIles didn't show much class, but I can certainly see his point.

Besides, Miles has been called "the Rainman," which was politically corrected to "The Hat."  Is anyone really surprised about this?

Yeah, I don't think that Kiel handled his recruitment process very well, but he's still an 18 year old kid trying to make the toughest decision of his life--  it's not a surprise that it might not have gone well.    Miles should know better.   He's trying to score cheap points with alums at a kid's expense.   Not cool.

That's somewhat classless by Miles.  I can't help but hope that LSU schedules Notre Dame at some point in the next four years and Kiel can pull an upset against the Tigers.  I fully believe that a head coach should ignore comments/actions of 18-year-old kids who play for other programs, at least in a public forum.

What a dick.  To paraphrase Mike Gundy, attack men who are 40, not 18 year old kids.  And it's hilarious that he's on his high horse about a kid they themselves stole from a less prestigious program... what's good for the goose and so forth.  God, I'm glad he didn't come to UM either in 2007 or 2011

If Michigan had hired him, and if he'd done well here, it would be a different story; many of us would be Les Miles apologists. If Michigan had hired him, and he'd done badly, he'd be a less charming version of RR, and we'd wish him a nice career elsewhere.

Michigan didn't hire him, but he's another alum who's done well on the big stage, so I wish him well.

It's got to be tough to go from the coach of the greatest football team ever known to mankind, to the coach of one of the poorest prepared teams in bowl history, to the coach of what, the sixth ranked team in SEC recruiting?  Top of the world to  competing with the likes of Tennesee in a month's time--no wonder he's losing it.
