That means Murray is gone - either NFL draft or A's minor league.

Who is better Hurts or Fields ?  Certainly, Hurts is more proven as a college player.  Hurts would probably have been a better fit for OSU with Fields a better fit for OU.

It is starting to get like free agency with that 5th year transfer rule and a lax NCAA.

I like the grad transfer rule. Lots of guys like Alex Malzone are even getting two years of eligibility if they graduate in three years. If you're buried on the depth chart and want to play, it gives more guys opportunity.

The Fields transfer is going to be the watershed. If the NCAA buys that Fields transferred for hardship rather than playing time, you are going to see hundreds of guys suddenly facing "hardships" next year. That really would be free agency and I think it would be chaos. Lots riding on that Fields decision and I would not want to be on the board trying to decide it because those Buckeye fans are truly deranged people.

OU only pursued one transfer QB. Hurts. I think the downside to Fields is he has more than 1 year of eligibility. OU has the top QB in this recruiting class signed, but he's not on campus until summer, so they just someone who could groom him for a year. I think the signing is a perfect scenario.

He put up video game numbers at Alabama, so I assume he'll do the same at OU.  But it's going to be weird for him watching the other team score just as quickly.

Interesting, albeit not surprising for a Texas kid.  I think conventional wisdom was expecting a Texas school or Maryland, but lots of TX kids go to OU.

I like Jalen Hurts. Seems like a great kid with strong character who has handled his situation well. I'm rooting for him to succeed (except when Michigan crosses paths with him, if that ever happens).
