It's about as close to 50-50 right now as it could possibly be as far as outside insight into this thing. I have a feeling he's gonna stay, but who knows. Calling a team meeting doesn't provide any indication either way. This situation is putting his players through hell, and he knows he needs to let them know as soon as possible what his plans are, whether he's leaving or not.

Via Twitter: "kitchen humidity has been a factor all day against maintaining a constant cooking temperature for chicken breasts."

The same poster tweeted just earlier that a mustachioed gentleman walked into the restaurant about 15 minutes earlier.  Could it be the same gentleman?  Was the chicken under/over cooked?

apparently players came out joking. claims are it's for ring sizing. bulllllllshit.

i also LOVE that izzo is taking the weekend to decide it. now if this was happening at UM, Spartans would be clamoring over how disrespectful and rude it was to drag out the process and leave so many people who care in limbo. at MSU? "oh he's just being Tommy"

well next time they freak out, they'll degrade themselves
my patience can rest til then
ohhhohhh i, i can't wait, to see izzo go

Tommy prolly told them, "Look here, lads. I'm not going anywhere. I want a nice, big, fat raise and win the championship."

The Spartan ball players, being Spartans, after all, didn't realize that he could just as well been talking about NBA head coaching pay raises and an NBA championship with LeBron.

Details. Ain't they a bitch?

Let's agree not to do a CIL about this one.  We can't leave anything to chance.

Mods, take down the Cleveland tourism video--he might think Cleveland is actually San Diego.  Again, leave no loose ends.

He's a gonner, mang.

I know MSU has a high opinion of itself, but MSU is not the NBA.

And I think he gone regardless of what James does. There are 29 other coaches in the league who all accepted their coaching offers without having Lebron on their rosters, and they did it because they were offered the chance to coach in the mutha-fugin NBA.

Also, I think people are overlooking the significance of the fact that he'll no longer have to spend his entire offseason recruiting, all while receiving a 100% pay raise in the process.

I don't know why he'd go if LeBron doesn't come back. Without Lebron, the Cavs might not be a playoff team. I don't know why'd you'd go coach for a team that can't win a NBA ring when you could win it all this year for MSU, even though college is a step down.

This was tagged as a baseball related thread? Whaaaaa?

/doing some house cleaning and in the 60 or so Tigers threads mistakenly marked "baseball" instead of "other", I find this in the baseball category
