OT IPhone app

Can those involved with the App. tell me if there is any plan to make the pages "zoom-able" for us older folks? It is so much easier than accessing via the web page when I can actually read the text.

Sorry to interrupt the steady stream of CC posts.

I would love a zoom so we can see the images closer as well, not just a text enlarge. I don't have any problem with the text size but wish I could enlarge the pictures people embed in some posts.

<br>Also, sometimes when an OP puts a link in their thread, when opened it automatically opens the link in a new window without having to click on it. Not always but I've noticed it's mostly when the link is the very first thing in the thread.

I love the app and use it daily, but here are a few of my thoughts:

-I definitely endorse the larger font option idea.  I still think it's a bit small to glance at or peruse quickly.

-I'd consider making the colors a bit cleaner.  The interface sort of has this depressing look to it.  Gray, light yellow, and whatever blue-grayish abstract backgroud is in there doesn't really generate the greatest aesthetic effect.

-The app's icon should be a bit flashier.  I realize their are issues with using the actual 'M', but maybe adding a white background to the app?  Or perhaps a blue background and white text (I do dig the yellow M, though!)

-Is it possible to let us copy/paste from within the app?  Or how about see the url where a respective post is located?  I think something necessary for an app that shares news/blog posts is the ability to share content easily.. thus driving others to the site.. driving up traffic.. so on and so forth.

I was actually going to ask the community for help in the design, so if anyone has ideas for the background, or general look, feel free to send them to me.

I've been primarily focussed on the function for now, but I have a little extra vacation time this month.

It might be helpful to send me a link to an example app that you want it to look like.

As far as the cut and paste stuff, you can do that like in any other app.  Press the screen, and eventually something gets selected.  Then you can move around the starting and ending points of the selection.

I've been using the iPhone app extensively. I find myself reading something during the day and then going back to it on my laptop at home just so I can posbang. The app still crashes frequently tho. I've noticed it's usually when you load it up when you don't have a net connection. It also crashes if you lock the phone while it is loading a page.
