OT: guilty pleasures???

Submitted by GOBLUE4EVR on
i'm bored and there isn't any football on yet, and i just saw that stupid comercial where the guy is karaoking it out to that 80's song in his car and the guy says something along the lines of "no matter what your guilty pleasures are"... so what are your guilty pleasues in life??? everyone has them, some are dumb, some are ebarrassing but were not here to judge... mine are: all of the law and order's: its like a magnetic pull if there is one on i have to watch it even if i've seen it 10 times. rob and big, rob drydek's fantasy factory, viva la bam, and nitro circus: i've seen every episode of each of these shows but i still watch them when they are on.

I know, I know. It doesn't live up to the hype of the First Treatise but his theories on civil society are, to put it simply, tantalizing. Is there such a thing as too much marmalade? Guilty! Seriously, I log more time on this site than I actually have time for. Whoops.

I'm not sure that L&O reruns meet the "guilty" criterion:
Often, the "guilt" involved is simply fear of others discovering one's lowbrow or otherwise embarrassing tastes, rather than actual moral guilt. Fashion, music, and food (especially unhealthier foods high in sugar and/or fat) can be examples of guilty pleasures.
(BOOM, WIKI'D) I, personally, find no shame in being a fan of the longest-running law drama series on television. On the other hand, my wife definitely doesn't understand the (i.e., my) fascination with Lady GaGa and the addiction to MGoBlog (which got much worse on 9/1 when I stopped patronizing the Freep). Or baking and consuming a dozen Toll House cookies every night (~1,400 calories). Those probably qualify.

I'd agree with the first couple of seasons. Then Dennis lost his sack and it went too emotional and lost it's yuck factor. I actually cheered when Teddy shot Tommy to end last season. It's just not funny any more and the story lines are getting idiotic.

Why are you yelling? None of us are reading it any louder because you are. My guilty pleasure is b rated comedies. Comedy Central is playing Naked Gun 33 1/3 right now. "Yes, I'm serious and stop calling me Shirley"

Just kidding! Use to be THE WIRE for TV viewing. Awesome story lines, acting, and characters. A nice cigar. A perfectly cooked and seasoned Filet Mignon. Hawaiian cut papaya with lemon. Hungry Howie's pizza.

Sorry, I was posting of what was one when in Ann Arbor. Should also have noted Domino's as well. There are no HH's where I am now so maybe the quality has gone down hill but I enjoyed it during college. Hungry Howie's and Dominos was a guilty pleasure when compared to UM dorm food. Little Sleazers, when located in the Union, was HORRIBLE. bTw, I did not neg you. If you had typed you liked little sleazer's pizza, I would have!
