I really think LSU is unraveling at the seams.  Chavis leaves due to rifts in the coaching staff, dumpster fire offense, and SEC west bros catching up on talent.

Yeah right, we don't have a QB. What's bad about him? He can hit the side of a barn, which we haven't had in 7 years. Denard could run, but man he threw poorly.

If the team was for it, I would support it.

However, this isn't like replacing parts in a car.  There are people involved.  The team is already dealing with another new coaching staff and another new system.  To then bring in a new QB from a hated rival to be a leader in our locker room could be bad for morale and team dynamic.

You mean other than reportedly cheating and getting suspended for a year? Would admissions even allow him in with that on his record?

I still don't get this "we don't have a QB" thing.  Everyone regressed under Hoke. None of us know anything more than what the talent was believed to be when it came in.

People jumping ship on Morris and Speight is blowing my mind.  Give them a chance with actual coaches with track records of improved QB play.  If they still make no strides, or regress further, then feel free to preach all you want about how we have no QB.

If he does in fact do this, then it is an interesting move for Golson and if we found him starting in that last week of August or thereabouts, that actually would not shock me given their situation at the moment. Actually, Golson in LSU's normal run offense with the threat of a pass could actually make them a lot more dangerous, I think.

This made me chuckle. The SEC would need to provide an academic waiver for a graduate of Notre Dame to play at LSU. Really?!

The report also states that LSU is considering the transfer, but it would need to receive a waiver from the SEC since Golson was declared academically ineligible and missed the entire 2013 season.

Golson has a super high ceiling, any team would be crazy not to take him.  JT Barrett's season this year constantly reminded me of Golson from 2 years ago.
