OT: Golden State Warriors Lost

To the Bucks.

Think they break the Bulls' record of 72-10? Anyone else see 9 more losses?

You'd argue and you'd be wrong. Besides the Warriors, a lot of teams (like the Spurs, last years Hawks) are playing some of the most efficient and fun to watch basketball in a long time.

I love watching college ball too. But I also love players who can really shoot and dont struggle to do anything against pressure defense and athleticism.

Not all of the NBA is great, this is true. There are bad teams and bad players. But it's a much better product than it has been in a long time.

I know its fun for everyone to hate on the NBA, but it could be even more fun for people to enjoy the enormous amount of talent and good ball being played right now.

2nd night of a back-to-back following a double OT win last night. Not hard to see this coming. Plus, Klay missed the Celts game. Don't know if he missed this one as well.

Going 72-10 or better is going to depend on their health and how many of these back-to-back road games they have.

Tonight was tough, end of a 7 game road trip and coming off double ot last night in Boston. Hell of a run though. Personally I do not think they will get there but would love to see them do it.

They went to OT with the Celtics and had to play this one less than 24 hours later without Klay Thompson. These back-to-backs and 3 games in 4 nights take a toll. 72-10 is crazy but if they remain healthy the Warrirors could legitimately challenge for it.

It's crazy they've been unbeatable for months now, but it makes sense that a day after a 2OT game they'd struggle.

I don't think they'll break the Bulls record because the NBA is better now than it was when the Bulls did it (expansion had really diluted the overall play), but they'll win 66+ games and be the odds-on favorite for the title.

You guys see that the Bucks fans were all wearing 24-1 shirts.  I'm not going to call it prophetic, since there was no gas left in the GSW tank, but still pretty funny.

Yeah. What an incredible run, but they were exhausted after double OT last night, their best players played 50 minutes last night. The NBA has too many good teams to beat when you're dead tired. Can't wait to see them play the Cavs on Xmas Day.

to proclaiming that you're a racist asshole? I mean, I totally get preferring college hoops, or preferring college sports in general--I am a little bit that way myself. I only check in every now and then on pro sports, period. But when you look in on any pro sport, it seems to me, you're pretty much bound to acknowledge the degree of skill and accomplishment they're played with, no? I mean, just popping a 9 1/2 inch ball into a rim that's just a little bigger from 25-30 feet with any consistency is amazing enough, when you think about it.

Not just trying to make a blanket condemnation of such people if it's not warranted, but I am curious what the hell else could motivate it, particularly in regard to the Warriors, who are accomplishing something awesome right now, and totally in the team-oriented way that people who dislike dunkfests or whatever should appreciate (right?) Maybe it's just sort of knee-jerk, not really well thought out. . .

You will now have an archenemy for life!! Unless you take that horrible statement back. No way was John Stockton ever the best point guard playing while Isaiah was playing. You take that back and you take it back right now!!!! Okay, I'm kidding of course about the watch your back part, I most certainly do not have a certain set of skills, but my love for all things Isaiah (as a player) is very true. Should have been on that dream team, and Daly should have made it happen.
