I am pulling for the Chips. But, in retrospect, maybe it was a little betting with my heart, not head when taking a team from a league thats 2-15 SU, 4-13 ATS in recent bowl games. And, they're chalk too. Eh. Plenty of time left. CMU has the better defense. Give it time to kick in.

Good enough to beat Moo-U at home (and Colorado, Navy, Purdue as well, for that matter). Although, it must be said, all but Navy had losing seasons.

If Troy beats CMU does that mean Troy>CMU>MSU>U-M? Because I couldn't live with that. Toledo is looking worse than the Horror all the time... (God, how bad is the MAC in bowls?)

How can Toledo beating the 2008 Wolverines even come close to comparing to App State beating the 2007 Wolverines? Nothing compares to The Horror. Mr. Brandon: Please get away from scheduling FCS schools. Nothing good comes from it.

I guess this is true if you can't comprehend a quality football team as you see it, and rely on administrative categorizations such as D-IAA and such to tell you what to think and feel

No where in my post did I compare the potential of 2007 App State and 2008 Toledo. I will assume, as you apparently are, that 2007 App State was the better team. However, that is neither here nor there. There is absolutely no comparison between 2007 Michigan and 2008 Michigan. 2007 Michigan was full of experience, was coming off a season in which they nearly went to the championship game, and was a top 5 preseason pick. 2008 Michigan was a shell of a football team. The Toledo loss is one of many FBS upsets that should never happen. No one will talk about that game 10 years from now. The ASU debacle will never be forgotten. ASU was an FCS school. They might have been the best FCS school out there but 2007 Michigan had no business losing to them. Elite programs don't schedule FCS opponents unless they are going to pound them into the ground. Your attempt at belittling my response is noted, but it's not me who is having an issue comprehending the two games, their circumstances, and what the loss meant to the program at the time.

The Horror was a much "better" loss than Toledo. Toledo should never win anything. We know about the other team's acomplishments. The Horror was a shock to the system, a remarkable upset. Toledo was the epitome of the worst season ever, the worst of many bad losses. Just epinion.

And I've been watching the boring a$$ people's choice award when there is football being played. Go Chips. By the way, Mariah Carey has blossomed out a little bit, but Beonce Knowles is still really bootylicious.

Hasn't Troy been outstanding the last few years? This of course is in the context of the Sun Belt. They destroyed almost everyone in their conference this year.

This would be a really good game if it was between two teams that I even cared a little bit about. Steve Stripling is the head coach of Central...but the Troy Trojans? What a ridiculous team name. I'd like this overtime to go to 8 or 9 overtimes thanks.

We hear a lot on Michigan message boards about who we hate. But I have an irrational love for Central Michigan. I don't know why. it's as if you're at the bar--and Michigan walks in, looking like Halle Berry. Central walks in, looking like jennifer Hudson. Halle Berry? I can't get her. But Jennifer Hudson--awwww yeah. Booty up to HERE motherfucker! Tits all over the fucking place. I'll take her! She'll keep me warm at night, all night. Go Chippewas! And, one of the few universities left who won't change a great nickname from a tribute to our indigenous people to something totally faggot-like such as the "Pumpkins."

What an awesome game! Seeing it in person just made it that much sweeter. Troy was one hell of a team but Central persevered. This to me, as a Central student, was a bigger victory than beating State cause at least Troy put up a fight haha I want to feel this way again next year with Michigan. I want to feel gratified and rewarded for all my dedication and determination. Bring home a bowl win Michigan!!!

What an awesome bowl season this has been? I mean the only way it could have been better was if Michigan made one. I'm sad tomorrow is he last game of football I will get to watch (besides repeats) for nine months. it beter be a good one...

Fire up Chips!!! To put this in perspective, you could follow CMU football for twenty years (as I have) and never see this repeated. For the Chip program, this is like Michigan's '97 season. They ran the table in the MAC, beat Sparty, won the MAC title game, and beat a conference champ in a bowl game. They'll finish in the top 25 of both polls. Tonight, I drinks the wines in honor of the Chips!!!!

I feel like a jackass for popping in MW2 and calling this one a game after Troy went up 32-19. If I had just waited for the ensuing kickoff I surely would have stayed 'til the end, what a comeback by CMU. Dan LeFevour is one hell of a quarterback (understatement of the century).
