OT: Game Seven.

Submitted by rick55 on
Well, the Wings have put themselves in a hole, allowing the Ducks to take the series to a seventh game. This should be a good one, but I'm hoping in the end the Red Wings depth can win it for them. Anaheim is relying on one line, and one line only, along with Teemu Selanne. I think the Wings take it by one, maybe in overtime. Either way, I want to see Brad Stuart knock the dog shit out of Cory Perry while coming across the neutral zone. Go Wings!

Air Force!!!! Hockey is too fluky a game to let it come down to 1 game. This is bite your nails time, anything can happen. That is why game 7 in hockey is so desperate, 1 bad break or bad penalty and you could be toast.

I'm telling ya, biorhythms are important. certainly not the most important. But all else being fairly equal, home ice should be a huge edge for the wings. 7pm start, knowing the ice characteristics, the lively boards. Did you see how many times people lost their footing in the pond? I think the ducks are just going to run out of gas.

leaves no margin for error. I agree that it is a fluky game. Goalies get hot, pucks bounce in a weird way, etc. It is what makes playoff hockey so awesome, but it also gives me ulcers. C'mon Wings!

If nothing else, the ice at the Joe isn't a slushfest like the ice at Honda Center. That has to be a bonus for the Wings.

Getzlaf is a piece of shit. Pretty much Capt. Douchebag of the 1st Tool Legion. I get frustrated just seeing him on TV, can't imagine what it's like to be on the ice against him.
