OT-Friday Night-Let's Drink to the End of EA Vote Thread
Someone always starts a drinking thread, and its already 5:05 on the West Coast without one.
So? What are you drinking?
I'm going to pop open a Stone "Enjoy By 4/1/13" IPA. Hoppy Goodness, available for only a short time.
Also, I will be so glad to not hear about voting anymore.
Go Denard. If he looses out to that dude from TAM, so be it. At least he'll still be Denard, and at least I'll be drinking really good beer. I hope the same for all of you.
Go Blue. Go enjoy your weekend.
I'm all the way back on the East Coast and I'm drinking water with half a glass of Coke Zero like a sucker. Like a big, stupid, dumb-faced, sober sucker.
EDIT: Moved on to putting some Beam in that Coke Zero of mine.
Wooo, un-diluted Makers! But seriously, how stupid of a marketing decision was it to, #1 reduce the quality of your product because you can't keep up the demand, and #2, make a big announcement to the public that you will reduce the quality of your high quality product.
I've got a nice buzz off makers, I didn't expect anyone on here to be drinking the MM with me.
A good friend of mine works for the Orange Bowl and she knows I love some MM, I just got a HUGE bottle in the mail last week. God bless America.
MGoShakeYourHand.
Well, they learned how stupid it was very quickly. Good thing, too. Quintessential Manhattan bourbon. It's good stuff.
Enjoy!
What? Where do you think all the favor comes from?
Please E.A. You know Denard is the actual winner. Despite the attempts of A&M fans who want some nobody receiver to be on the cover (I still don't know who he is), put Denard on the cover.
Dilemma: Bell's two hearted is tasty. My wife's buffalo chicken dip is delicious. Can't quite put my finger on it, but for some reason, the two together are downright OFFENSIVE.
and Drinking Captain Morgan Black and Cherry Pepsi. Plus, just seen the Michael Phelps tweet for Vote for Denard Lets pull this one off.
Perhaps sadly, Friday night frivolity for me right now consists of the Kent State / Akron game, Captain Morgan and Coke, and casually monitoring MGoBlog. Later on, I plan to throw the cult classic "Hollywood Knights" in the DVD player to round out the evening now that the kids are asleep.
Oh ya, shit tons of St. Emilion red wine already down the hatch as I go to bed here in Bordeaux. Pick up the pace ladies!
Cheese pizza and a nice '06 Zin from Bella Vineyards!
Bourbon barrel aged Cereal Killer.
I have things to do tomorrow - not that I drink a lot to begin with.
My daughter texted me that a pizzeria local to her is having a Founder's Tap Takeover. I'm sure the youngsters will make up the difference.
Will Ferrell voice.
Nothing fancy, just a little Honey Brown to let the day melt away.
and chillin with the kids.
Two old fashioneds, with Sazerac rye and orange bitters.
It's Saturday, 12:30pm, Korean time. I have woken up to an incredile hangover after a very long night. On the plus side, North Korea hasn't nuked us yet.
India Pale Ale was the primary quilty party, but the IPA had a lot of help, and thus the hangover.
I always worry about the Korean Penn with a crazy dictator regime to the north! Stay safe!
I fly to Seoul on Monday, my family has all asked me if I've made out a will.
Yeah, my family back home are always far more concerned than we are here. Honestly, when you live in-country for several years, crazy-North saber-wanking starts to fall on deaf ears. South Koreans aren't much concerned to be honest. True, it may come back and bite them (and, well, me and my family living here), but the North just feels so unthreatening.
