OT: Football Attire

Submitted by NamedMyDogWoodson on
My amigo works for Michigan athletics with respect to athletic attire, and she informs me that Michigan will wear the Adidas 3-leaf clover jersey against ND this year.

Also, that she had to return Denard's tailored shoes (Velcro) TWICE because he literally ran out of the strap.

GTFOH! What? That makes no sense. I don't care if we were playing them on St. Patrick's Day in Ireland and the game was sponsored by Jameson. We should not wear a clover.

Eh, it's not really a clover, but it is close.  Seriously though, who is the genius that would allow anything even close?  Don't we have some like prefered school clause in our contract that basically says we're the most important school to adidias?

So... Basically instead of the normal adidas logo on the collar, It'll be the old school logo? That's not that big of a deal. And haven't the home jerseys always been the same?

i believe they call it a trefoil.

Also, how are they going to have retro jerseys for two teams thats uniforms have remained relatively unchanged through the years?  What are they going to do, make it a darker shade of maize?

The only thing adidas makes that isn't awful looking is its old school junks. If Michigan wants to be cool i dont know why they don't outfit every athelete as Run DMC/A little Tenembaum. Hell throw in some kangol hats too.
